What web host do you suggest?

Our suggestion for a web host is Dreamhost. We use their servers exclusively because Joomla works without a hitch on their servers. They offer unlimited space and unlimited bandwidth, unlimited databases, and unlimited domains for about $10 per month. You'll probably end up paying around $10/ month for a web host, there are some companies out there that over cheaper services, and it seems like you have found a great deal with their $2 per month service, then you try and sign up and realize where that all the savings were are hidden in 10 year contracts or upsells that happen along the way. Dreamhost is straight forward. You get everything, no upsells or hidden costs.

Downside

Their cpanel is wide open and pretty easy to use once you get used to it. Their customer service is average, but we don't really use that much CS. The limitations of their system is in the technical details, like con-current connections (CC).

CC's mean, how many people will connect to your site at the same time. You are limited to 20 people accessing your site at an exact moment (high traffic sites). CC is not to be confused with how many visitors you can have on your site at once. You can still have thousands of visitors on your site daily with 20 CC's. You will be limited when you become hugely popular, but they do have upgrade options to burstable VPSs, which means on demand CC's. Another limitation is how many nodes you can hold on your server. A node is a file. You are limited to 500,000 files of any size.

You have unlimited space and bandwidth but you are limited to via nodes and CC's, but this is a normal thing in web hosting. On average you will spend $10 / month for web hosting. Dreamhost is by far the best web host we have worked with.
