How do I FTP my files to my web server?

Answer

FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is older than the World Wide Web. It is how people transferred files back and forth before Peer 2 Peer networks, and it is still the standard way we communicate with our web hosts. FTP will allow us to take files from our computers and place them on our host. To do this you will need an FTP client, a url, a User name and Password. The Latter three you should ask your host for. Try Filezilla for your FTP client software, for both Windows and Mac.
