How do I set up Scribefire with Joomla?
Answer
Scribefire is a blogging tool to help speed up your posting and connecting with blogging networks such as Technorati. There is a multi-step process to implementing Scribefire with Joomla. Luckily we have already done most of the work for you in our Blogger package.
- Open the Scribefire firefox addon in firefox. It should be a golden icon in your status bar at the bottom.
- On the right hand side tabs, select blogs
- At the bottom, choose the add button.
- Follow the wizard, add the location of your Joomla installation, next
- Select "Custom Blog", next
- Select "MetaWeblog API", fill within the API URL, "http://yourDomainName/xmlrpc/index.php", next
- Add your Joomla Username and Password
