How do I check my PHP settings?
Answer
Your PHP settings will tell you many things about your PHP environment, most importantly what configuration file or php.ini your site is currently using. It will also tell you what PHP modules are running. This is helpful when trying to debug your site problems.
Go to your Joomla administrator, choose:
help > system info from the Main Menu
Choose PHP Information in the Sub Menu.
If you are looking for what php.ini file is being used look under "Loaded Configuration File", is it the same as "Configuration File (php.ini) Path", if so then no special php.ini file has been loaded.
