What is MooTools?
Answer
MooTools (MOO: My Object Orientated, Javascript) is the Javascript framework for Joomla. It contains many libraries for Javascript programmers to use to create beautiful animations and manipulate page elements. The framework when loaded can be up to 70KB depending upon compression. If you are not using MooTools, then it is safe to turn it off to save bandwidth.
