Smaller cities don't go away because of larger ones, they thrive because they are the meeting places of like-minded individuals. Small community sites are built all the time by people like you, for people like you. Our Community Package was created for you industrious people who lead the charge of bringing other people with similar ideas together on the digital frontier.

Why use this package?

Our Community package is build using Community Builder which has a huge developer community behind it. Community builder has the most amount of plug-in options of any other community tool around. Lets face it you are not going to be the next Facebook, they've spend $100,000's of dollars on their web application. But you can start a successful small niche community today without any hassle. Our Community package was created to remedy basic configuration issues so that you can start your smaller niche communities right out of the box.

Who is this package for?

Intermediate to advanced users should use this package. Brave newbies can try also. Most of the configuration is advanced, intermediate users might cringe at the complexity. Once you get used to the interface you'll find it rather powerful, but there is a bit of a learning curve involved in running your community. All features are configured and ready to use but in order to get full use of your package, intermediate and advanced users might think about attending a "Building a Joomla Community" clinic. (There are also clinics that will bring newbies up to speed.)

What is in this package?

Our Community package is first and foremost built upon our powerful core package, which includes the latest 1.5 version of Joomla CMS. All advanced SEF, FAQ, and Sitemap tools are included for normal website duties. The Community Builder Suite is pre-installed and pre-configured so that you can start accepting registrations upon installation. While there are a lot of different plug-ins for Community Builder, we limited our developers to only the bare bones basics so that you, the owner of the site, can design the features of your own community. Some things were missing in Community Builder that we though a community couldn't do without such as a powerful PMS (Private Messaging System), so we added it in. Communication with each other is the starting point, what you do with the system from there is up to you.
